"I visit family once or twice a year in Freeport IL. Country Inn is perfect. In town. Close to restaurants. Free breakfast. The only reason it’s not perfect is 2x the hot tub was broke. Otherwise works well coming from out of town. Happy with their service, friendly people. "

"Let me just say, this score has nothing to do with the service I received from Staff. The ladies were so kind and helpful! You have a great staff! Now, get the hotel up to par and it may bring your ratings up. Pool was supposedly under maintenance. I happened to choose this hotel for the pool :( The right side elevator was not useable. All guests had to wait on one elevator and avoid the break a leg construction in the hotel itself. The room was okay but the bathroom on the other hand looked ancient and the dirt in the corners was not so great. Again, THIS STAFF WAS AMAZING and the breakfast bar was top notch!!
