"2 min walk across streert from train station. F riendly check-in and held our luggage so we could walk around. Gave us a map, directions, and food recommendations--hotel set in middle of lower walking area do perfect. Nice small terrace for evenings. Good varieties for breakfast including coffee machine that made multiple types of drinks. Our bathroom has step up into it so could be hazardous in the middle of the night."

"It was fine, nothing special or terrible. We never received the check-in email, but luckily someone was onsite to let us in. That was literally our only interaction with staff. Walk across the bridge to get into town, and if traveling with kids, there is a cute little park with exact (but scaled for kids) replicas of many of Portugal's (and it's current and former colonies) most famous sites, almost across the street.
