"If you want seclusion away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Away from the main road, but with access to great lookouts and hiking paths! The property is a bit old but the staff care for it how they can. Expect waning luxury, but clean and livable rooms. It gets cold in the winter so bring some fluffy PJs. "The rooms are very basic. The hotel is located just outside the older moorish district. Breakfast was above basic but not a total buffet. However for 11 euros it was a good deal to get the day going. The team didn’t seem to know the neighborhood when asking them for suggestions. But they were polite. "

"The staff were fantastic. Utter stars. They seemed genuinely delighted to help accommodate us. The views of the Alhambra were magnificent. Can't believe we could sleep while looking at it. Easy transport, hop on hop off train literally outside the door and taxis/ local bus just outside up the hill nearer Alhambra entrance. (Taxis within minutes if called) Lovely walk down the hill towards gate of the pomegranates / city centre. Would happily stay here again, worth every penny "

"Wonderful wonderful stay. Central location to all the things I wanted to do. The staff spoke enough English to assist me at check in and gave me a complimentary map and highlighted locations to visit during my stay. My room was very tidy and clean. The ceiling color was absolutely my favorite (Tiffany blue). My only teeny tiny complaint was the noise from the streets (couple of bars near hotel). I was on the 3rd floor so if you are a light sleeper I would recommend requesting a top floor. Would...

"The hotel is really well kept. The rooftop area is still a jewel not well managed. It doesn’t have a real bar, staff or heaters. Rooms are spotless and staff is pretty friendly and available for help, even though the hotel is understaff for a 4 star hotel and most of the time they only count with one employee in the front desk to solve everything for everyone. The neighborhood is great, in the middle of Granada. I would give the hotel 3 stars, not 4."
