"Had a lovely 3 night stay at Heathpark. Meg and Chris were so warm, welcoming and attentive. Stayed in a single room which was a good size, cosy, and a very comfortable bed and fab shower. Great choices at breakfast with a daily special making it difficult to choose. Everything freshly cooked and well presented. Can't recommend this guest house highly enough. Meg and Chris do everything to make sure you (and your dog) have a pleasant stay. I look forward to returning in the future."

They explained me many things, brought towels directly ro my room and even talked and played dart with me, while I waited for my dinner, which was a great local beef burger. The dart is free and so is the great breakfast, where the lovely owner made me croissants, toast, scrambled eggs and provided cereals, although I was a bit late for it (8.30 - 9.30). "The hostess is a gem! The house is quaint and peaceful. Fabulous breakfast and I love the living room on the bottom floor. Water pressure could be better, but that may just be an issue with the area so I wouldn't fault the propriator for that. The twin mattress in the room was meant for a small child. It was not comfortable for a third adult, but the main mattress was great. Still five stars because the owner is so accommodating and the place is very nice. "

"It's a student hall of residence so amenities and decor are very basic as expected, but you can't complain for the price, especially in the centre of St. Andrews in high season! A bargain really. Minor gripes - the shared bathroom(s) have very loud electric hand dryers that sound like a vacuum cleaner and can be heard several rooms away.. The lights in the corridors and bathrooms are extremely bright, in the blueish spectrum and permanently on, so not conducive to maintaining melatonin levels if...
