"The hotel was clean and conveniently located to the city center. The staff was friendly and there was a good basic breakfast. The room was too warm and it was difficult to turn down the heat. There was no reception after 17:00. There was no evening meal service, but the city center with several good restaurants was only 5 minutes walk."

"Lovely traditional German hotel with delicious food in a beautiful setting on the edge of the woods where you can spend hours walking and hiking. Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony. "This was a lovely hotel. However, be warned that if you book a room based on the picture you will be let down- there was no four-poster bed in our room. Actually although we had clearly booked a Kat4 room with a balcony, the first room we were allocated had no balcony and a view from the window of a wall. We complained and were then given a slightly larger room with a shared balcony, but no sign of the four poster bed. Breakfast was fine, and the breakfast staff were lovely. "

"Run by a lovely young family, this place is a veritable retreat. We got a balcony room over the river and it was worth it. You can see the covered bridge, stars, and the church overlooking the property. The beds are extremely comfortable. The breakfast is nice. The entire place is very cute, you can also book sauna for a reasonable fee as long as you tell them in advance. Out of all the places I've been this month, they have the best coffee. "Vi havde booket et familieværelse til 8 Pers med eget toilet. Det værelse var så ikke lige lige klargjort, da de ikke vidste vi kom. I stedet kunne vi få 3 andre værelse med fælles toilet og intet bad. Mad kunne man heller ikke få, trods der står at morgenmad er med i prisen. Der var så beskidt og ulækkert og lugtede fælt, ejeren var ubehøvlet og ubehagelig. Vi endte med at køre derfra og finde et andre sted at sove."

"A very nice hotel. Friendly staff, very clean and they made a real effort for my”speacil needs” breakfast. Disntbuse the spa but it looked fantastic. A well run hotel with real emphasis on customer service. The only negative thing was that the hotel was “closed” on arrival (12:30 am) and if there had not been a few people in the bar outside I am not sure how we would have got in. "
