"This is the 3rd stay at this wonderful villa. Each time we plan to explore the Algarve, we end up relaxing in the garden and swimming in the pool. We go home relaxed and recharged. We look forward to staying in years to come."

"Overall we loved the place. It’s huge, clean and the pool area is great. Communication with the management company was great apart from when it came to the ancient air con unit in the 2nd double bedroom. They kept ignoring the issue and fobbing us off. My brother and his partner could not sleep in the room it was so loud and we could hear it from our room too (our aircon had been replaced recently by comparison) it was so bad I asked for compensation which never came and they just stopped replying to my communications about it. Aside from this massive issue which you just don’t expect from a place this expensive, the place also just lacked some homely touches. For example we bought a couple of cheap lamps because otherwise it was just massive ceiling lights in the living room and hallway / stairs. And we bought warm white bulbs for the bedroom lamps as they were cold bright white previously. We also bought large wine glasses as the existing ones were tiny 70’s Pub style. No chairs on the massive shared balcony was really lacking - we moved some dining chairs up there. And the balcony doors from the landing could only be opened by lifting the Velcro’s down rug that was placed in front bizarrely. So, overall we enjoyed it but I wouldn’t go again unless I had reassurances that that air on had been replaced. And the one in the twin room that my brother resorted to sleeping in wasn’t much better "

"Location is beautiful But we value our privacy and the owner of the property doesn't let you know he is coming x 3 times in the 2 weeks We woke up one morning to find him in the garden! We had children with us and did not feel safe when he left as he just leaves the gate wide open The swimming pool was very unsafe and filthy the owner had to call a technician out to fix the pool and it took us a hour to clean the pool when we arrived On day 2 he accused us of breaking the umbrella outside when this was already broke The toilet in the on-suite bathroom after every second flush you have to take the system apart to stop the water constantly running As a family we didn’t feel like we could kick back and relax as we always felt on edge and never knew when he would show up Will not be staying here again "

"We had a really lovely stay in this spacious villa. Was very clean and the air con in the bedrooms was a godsend in 35 degree heat. The pool is a good size, unheated but this is ideal in mid summer. The kitchen is very well specified with everything you would need. You're pretty close to loule and that's a good sized town with a good selection of shops. Definitely need a hire car though. Our only (very slight) criticism is the sofa is quite hard and upright, making it somewhat uncomfortable and could really do with some cushions. Other than that we had a great stay and would go back The poll is a good size"

"As a family of 6 we had a fabulous week in Villa Cortina which sits on an enormous plot inland from the coast. The Villa is a great size with a really large comfortable lounge/dining area and a very well equipped kitchen & utility. There are 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom on the first floor with a master bedroom & en suite on the ground floor. There is a third bathroom with shower also on the ground floor. Everything worked so well - the all important Wi-Fi was excellent and the showers were powerful and hot. We enjoyed watching a bit of the Olympics on the tv which has every channel you can think of. The real beauty of the place is the outside space - ping pong, darts (in the outside bar area) and the putting green were great fun. The pool is deep and large. The BBQ was used every night as we ate under the stars. There are loads of supermarkets nearby and Loulé is a lovely little town to visit. The coastline is a little over-developed in places but there are some beautiful little beaches to be found. A Car is absolutely essential. The villa is away from everything and the perfect place to chill out in the sun."

"Lovely spacious property, perfect for our family holiday. We really appreciated the large bedrooms, all ensuite, and the good sized pool. When we did have an issue the owner and property managers were easy to contact and quick to respond. The villa was clean with lots of extras not included in the listing description; there was very good wifi, Netflix access, board games and books. There is some cosmetic damage in the pool area which needs looking at, but nothing that affected our enjoyment of the property. You definitely need a car to fully enjoy the location, we loved trips into town on market day, a full day at aqualand a visit to the beautiful beach at Praia da Falesia.
