"El Pao was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. However there were some things that we did not expect. I stayed in the room with the bubble. I think it’s important to note that the only access to the room with the bubble are spiral stairs, not horrible but not also the best. I had the idea that this would be a “bed in breakfast” but because the room could only be accessed by the spiral stairs, the breakfast could not be brought up to the room. "Traveling several hours, arrived at 18.30 was told couldn’t order a drink until restaurant opened at 20.30 remote location so bars/cafes limited to find, staff abrupt, we don’t expect the staff to speak English but body language said it all, was told no tables available to eat outside in large eating area, we were first to restaurant no tables occupied at the time, we were very hungry, would not recommend if your not Spanish, really dissatisfied !!!!!!!!"

"It was a delightful stay, apartment/room came complete with a fully equipped kitchen; refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and more. It felt like a cozy home away from home. However, the balcony terraces are not particularly private unless you’re staying on the highest floor. The only downside was that one of the central heating radiators was constantly on full blast, and there was no way to turn it down or off. It was quite hot for us, especially since we’re from the UK, but overall, it was a fantastic place. The staff was very helpful, and room service was only available once during our nine-day stay."

Amazing hotel in Alicante

"Excellent from start to finish, reception staff brilliant always went above & beyond, especially Yolanda & Bryan who despite being a newbie, sorted a minor issue for us. The breakfast was so good, friendly staff, great choices, best breakfast we’ve had anywhere. The style of the hotel was so on trend, pristinely clean and well presented in every area. The room was light & spacious, all top quality. Beds a little hard for me but that’s just preference. Lovely extra touches like water stations & fresh fruit on every level was much appreciated. Ideally located, minutes from the beach, marina & Ramblas. If we return to Alicante I would definitely stay again & highly recommend. "

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Gran Bali

"I’ve enjoyed my holiday at Gran Bali hotel Benidorm. Cleanliness and comfort. Given a sea view as requested and the view and room were very pleasant Restaurant was clean and staff helpful if needed. Only issue was the long queues to buy a drink in the island bar. Especially in the late afternoon. Only 1 staff making coffees. Cocktails and other drinks taking time before you can be served. I can imagine this will be worse when hotel full. Staff were pleasant though. No signs to say where the spa is . Prices were on display which appeared expensive Entertainment was missing but out of season and we wanted a peaceful holiday. Public bus and taxi to the Old Town cheap. A few miles out or an hour walk. Beautiful and clean beaches and promenade Hot Food as other reviews tends not to be. But there is plenty of choice and plentiful. Especially breakfast was very good. "
