"We stayed here in April for a large family reunion with a group ranging in age from 1 to 91, and it worked really well for us. There were 18 of us mainly adults (plus a baby), and the space was comfortable and well set up for a group that size. The kitchen was probably the best-equipped we’ve ever had in a holiday rental – all kinds of coffee makers and plenty of large pans, which made cooking for everyone much easier.There was a great selection of games, and the play area and toys for the baby were great. We also appreciated the large outdoor seating areas, where we could all eat together, and the barbecue area.The location was very convenient – just 20 minutes to Alicante and the beach, with some great local hikes nearby too. There were also a few cafés, restaurants, and a golf club just a short walk away which we made use of.Jason, the host, was very friendly and helpful, always available if we needed anything. It was a really good spot for our gathering, and we’d definitely recommend it for larger groups or families."

"Villa Henri is a beautiful villa inside and out. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. An extra bonus was the digital handbook we received on booking such a brilliant idea it covered absolutely everything from the check in process, directions to the villa, which were a gift from Alicante airport to restaurant recommendations. All emails and queries were also replied to very quickly. Lee who greeted us too was very friendly and helpful We had 6 nights over the half term holiday (October) Unfortunately the weather was a bit temperamental but that didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves. The villa itself is in a very secure gated urbanisation right beside the Bonalba Hotel. There is a good selection of restaurants 5 min walk away and a small onsite shop. We would recommend hiring a car which lets you explore the surrounding areas. We also travelled 3 nights into Alicante via Uber then just got a taxi home from the taxi rank which was cheaper. We also travelled via the tram which we got from our eldest daughter’s apartment, the Hodpitsl stop to tte Mercado stop (right in Alicante centre) for €1.40 !! Overall as a family we would definitely recommend Villa Henri "

"Had a lovely 5 days away at Barry’s beautiful villa.Barry went above and beyond from communication to a lovely welcome pack.He arranged for his friend Peter to collect and take us back to the airport for a reasonable charge.Peter was lovely.Candy also helped us while we were away with taxis as it is a bit remote as in the mountains and we didn’t rent a car.And was happy to call around to find us a taxi and book activities if we wanted.Overall a wonderful holiday.Thankyou to you all.John and Sue"

"El Pao was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay. However there were some things that we did not expect. I stayed in the room with the bubble. I think it’s important to note that the only access to the room with the bubble are spiral stairs, not horrible but not also the best. I had the idea that this would be a “bed in breakfast” but because the room could only be accessed by the spiral stairs, the breakfast could not be brought up to the room. I would not recommend the room with the bubble during summer because there is no ventilation and it is very hot in there. Making it impossible to go in during the day and okay at night. Although you could go in at night, you’d have to leave in the morning because it would start to get hot. Besides that, the room was gorgeous. My favorite feature was the tub in the center of the room. The balcony area with the bubble was also very nice and big, area to tan and lay as well which I appreciated. The breakfast was also delightful and they had good coffee. I think the ventilation in the air bubble was the biggest let down because we barely used it, I was so excited for it but it was too hot for me and I couldn’t sleep comfortably. This could be my fault for lacking common sense but it’s also summer, maybe put something in there during the summer? We did ask for a fan and were provided one, which was very nice but it still didn’t do much. But the bed in there was super comfy. Overall, I would give this place a 8/10. I am very grateful to stay"
