"We stayed in the room named Torre di Pisa and it has the most amazing view of the tower. It is literally 25 steps away. I would say this view ranks up there as one of the best in the world. Incredible! "

"This is a truly beautiful house with long views down to Lucca and olive groves all around. It is well-furnished and we slept really soundly. Massimo, the host, is extremely gracious and offers many great ideas for local activities and day trips, and once you find it the local supermarket is very well stocked. Having said all that, there are two "buts" to determine if this is the right fit for you. The key one is that "steep, winding, and narrow road" indicated in some comments is an...

"We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"This is a beautiful hotel, easily accessed by one of the portals to the city. There is limited parking available on site. The lobby and breakfast area are lovely, Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the family rooms and it was large, comfortable, well decorated, quiet, and a short walk from the main hotel. We used the bikes cycling on the city walls; it was super convenient to have those on site. I would highly recommend this hotel for families."
