"Be aware that the Main House is set up like a hostel. Luckily there were 4 of us so we did get the entire house. Things to know: the kitchen and living area are not connected to the bedrooms and bathrooms so there are separate entrance doors. Each bedroom has a skeleton key but no key for the main door to lock on that structure. Also the kitchen is shared with employees-they have a fridge next to the one you use in the dining room area. We were told there wasn’t a key available for the kitchen building but we eventually did get one. The shower heads leaked so they were shooting water over the shower curtain and made puddles in bathe bathrooms. Our shower head fell off completely. The fans were not adequate to cool the rooms IMO and it was hard to sleep with the outdoor solar light directly in my eyes, and the mattress needs to be replaced on the twin bed I slept on. The staff was nice but I did feel the owner seemed indifferent when I told her if the shower head issue. We booked for two nights but stayed only one. I the beach is not so easy to access unless you are willing to lift up the chain link fence with barbed wire. Otherwise you will walk a bit along the road to enter the public opening. Overall it wasn’t what we were expecting because the photos didn’t show the house set up just the rooms. "

"Our group loved Magic Moments! Beverlyn's cooking combined with the great location, chill atmosphere, Josh's lay of the land (and water) plus all the comforts of home made for many a magic moment. I highly recommend this property but only hope you don't take my dates for next year! We'll be back... "

"This is a great vacation spot if you want to relax!! It’s a perfect setting to get away. Special thank you to Shane for making it a memorable experience. He prepared world class dinners with local flavors. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in planning day trips to black river by boat with a few stops to include pelican bar and a local crab shack on the river. He recommended YS falls for a day trip, beautiful! We did leave the villa to grab lunch at Jack sparrows and spend some time with the locals at treasure beach. The home is dated but has all the amenities. Mark the owner was also very responsive before the trip to finalize any questions. The housekeeper and gardener were there every morning working efficiently and gave great conversation . Thank you for a wonderful Jamaican experience "

"Stop looking! You found your perfect Jamaican stay right here. Carla was great, very communicative, and never hesitated to help however she could. But the true gem here… Mark. He hands down made our vacation. You will not find a better cooked meal on the island. He was so kind and generous and helpful. Seriously invaluable. Wonderful layout for a group of nine with a mix of two families including littles and grandparents. We would book here again without hesitation. Also, you won’t see a better view of the sunset. It’s as if the sun sets only for Sweet Villa. BOOK NOW!!!"

"The hotel needs to be renovated, the pool has been out of service for weeksI was told the water in the pool was moss green, the tv didn't work as well. This is truly a place to rest your head and sleep then off to do something throughout the day. There is nothing to do at the hotel. Although the food is great at the bar, but the bar is open only till 7pm "
