"Visited at New Year, was busier than usual outside the hotel due to the Christmas market and fair, but inside was still lovely and peaceful. Staff were efficient and friendly, the facilities were excellent and the food was fantastic. This was our second visit and we will go again. "

"Grand Hotel Excelsior is beautiful, elegant hotel not far (5 min walk) from Valletta's City Gate entrance by the Triton Fountain. The location by the water of the bay offers amazing views by day or night. The extra attention by all of the staff was very appreciated as it wasn't overpowering but discreet and gracious.
