George, the owner/manager was a superb host, quick to respond to all questions and requests... also great cook! "The staff were all very friendly and plenty of them speak English. The condition of the room was fanatic! Even though the building is very old, since it’s located in the center of “Old Town Chania”, inside you’d swear you’re in a newly built luxury hotel. Very centrally located for walking everywhere!"

"The owner is amazing. My phone had died so I didn't directions to get to the hotel. I found a shop owner that called her and she walked 10 minutes to where I was and walked me back. Each room is individualize and mine had a private entrance. There were lots of personal touches that made the place feel special. I can't recommend this hotel more. If I am ever back in Chania I will stay here again."

"Lovely remote and quiet location. Beach is a few minute drive and the waters are the clearest I’ve ever seen. The room was recently renovated, had everything we needed from a studio to make basic meals and drinks, and was extremely clean. The host was lovely and more than happy to let us check in early as there was availability. We hold highly recommend for a wholesome quiet family holiday or for couples to unwind. "

"The place is on a great location, it is very clean and the stuff is really nice. The balcony is great. I stayed there for multiple times and I will definitely come back. Only thing that I was sad about was the shower. It was broken and the water was going all the directions you don't need."

"The hotel is very clean, the area is nice, you have a bus station to Chania 3 mins away from the hotel. Did not try the nearby restaurants but you have a couple of options from what I’ve seen. The only complaint would be that you need mobile data since the Wi-Fi is very slow, but mobile data has good speed so I didn’t mind."

"The unit has high ceilings, it's quiet, and it's modern and clean. The kitchenette could use a microwave but it is serviceable. The washing machine was excellent to have. The beds were very comfortable and there is lots of closet space. The apartment is right downtown in the old part of Chania with several of eateries close by (walking distance) and a party atmosphere. The parking was a nightmare, impossible to find any open spaces. "

"We had a great stay at Kanso rooms! The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy! Staff was very helpfully and friendly! Easy bus route to get to Chania, but a car needed to get around to the rest of the island! Would recommend anyone to stay here! "
