"We had a large balcony suite. Not a spectacular view - we looked over the backs of several buildings and there was construction, but likely quieter than street side rooms. Bed very comfortable and staff attentive and very prompt if we had a special request ( extra ice for champagne, etc. Palermo is nice quiet area with many restaurants close by."

"We had an amazing stay at the Carles. The staff, Cecelia, Ailen and another young man could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The location was convenient for all of our activities. The bed was wonderful, the bathroom very clean with lots of fresh towels. It was lovely that you could open the windows for fresh air and a view of the city. Breakfast in the morning was very good.
