"Absolutely top rate hosts. We had an issue with our rental car. They came and picked us up off a busy motorway. They helped us contact a breakdown service as we could not contact Avis. The car had to be towed. Then it took all the next morning trying to work out the next step. They tried so hard on our behalf. The property is white and set off the road in a park like setting. "We stayed overnight on our way back from the South of France. It is a beautiful place in a tiny village. Our room was lovely with a huge comfy bed and a large modern bathroom. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. We couldn’t check in until 4pm and the door is locked at 11pm but this wasn’t a problem for us. "Le Château - Fresnoy en Gohelle was a dream experience. The owner clearly loves this home and takes pride in sharing with others. It was like we had our own home all to ourselves. The ground were stunning, decorations incredible, breakfast was wonderful, and the owner treated us with kindness and respect. This was one of best experiences while on our 12 day France vacation."

However we chose this location to view the war graves and the lost post bridge and it was a perfect location. Breakfast was amazing, fridge well stocked with wine and beer.
