"Lodge was well maintained! Everything worked. Heating/ cooling was welcome as the weather was often wet and cool! Not very comfortable! Getting a little bit shabby! Lovely spacious parkland was well maintained? Overall met our expectations and pretty good value for money! "

"Around 2006, the owners, Jacqueline and Daniel, decided to turn an old stone house near their own place into a Gite. The work was done with a lot of care. The main area has a master bedroom and bath. For families with children, the attic space has an additional 3 beds and a half-bath. Off the kitchen-dining area is a large enclosed garden with table and chairs for outdoor eating. "We had a great time at Pierre's lovely converted barn in Sonac. The kitchen area was excellent - very well equipped, which made it easy to cater for nine people. The pool area was absolutely perfect and a hit with everyone. The huge garden was well used by all, both of our dogs and the children. The rooms also comfortably accommodated everyone. Pierre was an excellent host who made us very welcome. We'd love to return."
