"We had a great time at Pierre's lovely converted barn in Sonac. The kitchen area was excellent - very well equipped, which made it easy to cater for nine people. The pool area was absolutely perfect and a hit with everyone. The huge garden was well used by all, both of our dogs and the children. The rooms also comfortably accommodated everyone. Pierre was an excellent host who made us very welcome. We'd love to return."

"Beautiful villa , beautiful pool but partly my fault for not doing research properly. This villa is part of a working farm (sheep & goats) this caused major issues with flys I means loads of them so much so that you could not eat or drink outside in the beautiful sunshine. It really should be pointed out in the advertisement of this villa . Beware "

"We stayed here a week in July - family of 4. It was a welcome sight after a long journey, very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. It is a very quiet location, with just a neighbouring couple in an attached property but we never really heard or saw much of them. We found plenty to do locally and further afield - caves, lovely villages, ancient settlements, châteaux, canoeing, etc Could fill two, three or even four weeks here easily! Down a lane and in the middle of some lovely trees, you can walk to the local baker if you go down the lane and into the little ravine and back out the other side. "The house is large with 4 big rooms and wonderful open plan kitchen diner. The view is spectacular and very relaxing. We were close to shops and sightseeing places like Sarlat, Rocamadour etc. As it was hot, it was lovely to have the pool to cool off. All in all a fantastic place. "
