"The staff was very helpful. After a long day getting there from the airport, they directed us to the nearest hot spring and provided us with an extra towel and robe. Their restaurant offered a good variety and the food was excellent. Our room was as described and the beds comfy! I highly recommend this property should you venture to the West Fjords for lodging or a meal."

"This is a very comfortable, spacious home. Very quiet. Everything you might need is here. It is, however, quite remote, 30 minutes on an unpaved road and 63km from the closest grocery store. I would recommend it as a good place to get away and relax, rather than a place which is convenient to sights. The owner is very responsive to questions, she was great."

The view from the living/dining room overlooking Vatnsfjordur and the Atlantic Ocean is serene and can't be beat for beauty. The location is very quiet with very little car traffic. You have to travel 45 minutes to the nearest town, but there is a hotel within a couple of miles with a gas pump and a good restaurant.
