The concierge helped us get round trip tix on the daily Hurtigruten/Havila fjord cruise (part of their Norwegian coastal journey has them come into Alesund in the AM and then go down the fjord and back to Alesund that evening). "We stayed for 5 nights but the room didn’t have a wardrobe and it hadn’t been cleaned halfway through our stay. On the plus side, the staff were extremely professional and friendly, the bar was excellent and the breakfast surpassed all expectations. The location is perfect and we would return. "

"My family and I booked a family room for four through Expedia. Upon arrival, we found the room only had space for three. The receptionist said our reservation listed only two guests, but my booking clearly stated the room accommodated four. "Beautifully decorated facility. The rooms are very nice and comfortable beds. Price includes breakfast, afternoon sweet, and dinner. The food at the breakfast buffet is very good with lots of choices and options; plus, caters to many dietary needs. Very friendly staff. Walking to markets, restaurants, and shopping. The hotel is on a bus route and and the harbour front is across the street. Walking distance to the cruise ships."
