"An absolute gem! Located in the beautiful heart of Bryggen the hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable and packed full of character. Perfectly placed to explore Bergen, all the must do tourist spots are walking distance along with the train station to explore the rest of Norway. The buffet style breakfast is an excellent start to the day with plenty of choice and a wealth of excellent restaurants surround the hotel so you won’t struggle to find somewhere for dinner. "We enjoyed our stay, and the very central location, with several restaurants, a new Irish pub, and the Christmas market metres away. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The "julefrokost"was plentiful with a wide array of traditional Norwegian Christmas dishes. Our only complaint is that the food was on the cold side for our tastes, even when we showed up at opening time. We used the exercise room, and also enjoyed the second-floor lounge. "
