"I had an amazing time at Hodges Bay. From when I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Jaheim (I hope I got his name right). He offered me and my guest a beverage and a cool towel since it was very hot outside. We were then given a tour of the grounds by Javid and Jamar and then quickly taken to our rooms, allowing us to unwind and relax. Throughout our stay, both Javid and Jamar were very helpful even assisting us with excursions off the property. The property itself was very lovely. Clean and beautiful! I couldn’t have asked for a better ocean front resort. The beds were comfortable and once I figured out how to get the shower water to a hot temperature, I was at ease. We never had to ask them to clean our space or ask for extra towels. The room was always well equipped with what we needed. I cannot forget to mention that upon our arrival to the room, they had fresh fruits and brownies waiting for us. The beach was beautiful and we had no issues with seaweed. Access to Prickly Pear was a bonus and I cannot put into words how beautiful the scenery was. Jean-Marie was a dear! She set up travel arrangements for Barbuda. She made sure we had a taxi to and from. Anything that we needed, she made happen and it never seemed like we were asking for too much. Tanika, Anastasia, and Tango were also amazing at the bar! Drinks were strong and delicious and the food even better. The pools, the spa… Omg the spa! Everything was amazing! Please do not hesitate to book here. You won’t regret it."

The grounds, beaches, and views were stunning. The food was exceptional. Special shoutout to Mario, the lobby area bartender, who was such an amazing part of our trip. "lovely beachfront suites that have everything you need. restaurants are all very good. they will adjust any dishes if you simply ask. wonderful pool area and bar service at pool. pristine beach, but not a swimmers beach. strong surf. . take a guided tour of island but don’t drive yourself. a big no. we got to see so much with a driver and able to relax and not deal with crazy roads. spa is quaint with lofted thatched roof treatment rooms. . all staff was extra helpful and friendly. only suggestions for resort would be a fresh beach towel at pool daily rather than dragging wet towel back to room everyday. labels on the myriad of switches in the rooms as to what coordinates with what. a sunscreen pump station at the pool. these are minor fixes but would be so much more convenient. very very laid back and relaxing resort. no kids. no loud music. classy. must wear long pants at dinner or they will turn you away. enjoy!!
