The downstairs a master with a bathroom another bedroom, plus there was a bedroom in front of h the living. "So happy we chose this rental. We brought our own boat from VA. The marina is literally next door, opposite canal side from row of boathouse. The elevator/lift made bringing in luggage a breeze- carts available too. Close walk to town and on quiet street. Super comfortable furnishings, clean and fresh rooms towels linens, nautical touches throughout you really feel immersed in ‘The River’ life. "8 adults stayed here we had plenty of space and really enjoyed the house. The town of Alexandria was very cute, most things were closing for the season but we did still get to experience the boat tour, do some shopping and eat at a few local places. We also traveled to the next town over for the pumpkin chunkin festival which was a lot of fun. Thanks to Bob for recommending this! "

"We stayed the week after July 4th. We used to go tent camping in the Islands every summer until we moved out of state 9 years ago. Coming back for a family vacation this summer, we couldn't have been more excited to experience the Islands again. We cannot say enough about the house, the location, and host Michelle. This is a great location, only a short walk or quick ride to all the restaurants, The property has many extras including canoes, grills, pool and a beautiful area for outdoor camp fires and lounging. "This home is wonderful. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. My daughters were fighting over who was going to sleep in the "secret nook" on the top floor. Both bathrooms were large and well equipped. The kitchen / living room area was huge and made for a perfect area to congregate with family.
