"My friend and I did not find the neighborhood as bad but a lot of locals we meet said to be careful cause it’s a shady area of the city. Upon arrival, we couldn’t find the location and was having trouble entering the code to enter. When we entered the place was run down and the elevator did not work. The place was very tight and it’s based on rooms with three bunk beds with hardly any room to move around. There were guys already on the bed we were assigned. It was not maintained and my friend...

"Pros:location is ok (15 min walk to centre) nice outdoor and restaurant area. Clean. Cons: the room is like a sauna in summer as its so small and is in the roof with a sky light. Overpriced for a bunk bed and shared bathroom. No kitchen. The shower turns off after about a minute but you can just keep pressing the button. "

"We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library."
