"We loved our time here! Sandy bay is the best. We very much dislike the crowds of west bay/end. Sandy bay is so calm and peaceful and you feel like you are integrating among the locals. The house was beautiful and perfect for us. We loved the pool, kayaks and sunsets on the beach! We drank coffee on the porch every morning and absolutely loved the greenery and privacy. "We had a great week long stay at the cabana. Conrad and Vanessa were very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. We traveled with a 12 and 14 year old boy and they had a blast snorkeling the reef that was a short swim from the end of the pier. I recommend buying an inflatable snorkeling buoy from Amazon to bring with you. We bought groceries from Eldon’s on the way to the rental from the airport and cooked in the kitchen. "This was our second visit to Phoenix House. The primary reason we like this location (Sundancer) is the access to the reef. There are very few places in the tropical snorkeling business in the world where you can access a coral reef with a 10 minute swim. No boat rental necessary. "La Placita Inn is a beautiful property in a great location at West Bay. It is in within walking distance to numerous restaurants, bars, dive shops, gift shops, and grocery/liquor stores. The beach and pool are beautiful! We ate the complimentary breakfast at La Placita’s own restaurant every morning; it was delicious! All of the staff are very friendly and amazing, especially Jesse at the front desk and Edward at the restaurant. Highly recommend!"
