"Great value accommodation and excellent food (also great value) and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. It's a sports bar with numerous TV screens and it can get a bit noisy, but ear plugs are provided. Not the greatest location but it was convenient for our requirements. "

"This hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were nothing but helpful and went out of our way to make our honeymoon trip special. The room we had 'Lomand' was incredible and the four poster bed of my dreams. The claw bath was also a highlight and the room was clean and bright. "Lovely place, very clean and comfortable rooms. We had a a bit of an issue at check in, we had booked a family room which turned out to be a double bed and a trundle bed which they brought up. The trundle bed was not fit for purpose really, it didn't look safe to sleep on. Couldn't fault the staff or the manager though, they were very helpful and made sure to try and resolve the issue for us straight away. "Lovely cosy village pub. Nice if small bedroom but with en-suite. Very clean, good evening meal (for guests only) and good breakfast. Friendly owners Mark and Audrey are moving but the pub is staying open with new people."

"Fabulous property and staff. Apartment amazing in every respect with lovely high ceilings. Based on past reviews I asked for a high floor room (got 3rd floor facing street) which had secondary glazing. But the noise late at night even on a Wednesday went on till just after midnight. So amazing place just sadly let down by something totally outside its control."
