"The property was a great base for a short stay in Chester for a family of 5. We were no more than 15 minutes from some of the notable local attractions and amenities. The house itself suited our needs and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house and rooms were of ample size to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children (all under 13)."

"Absolutely fantastic place , couldn’t fault it if I wanted to . Really peaceful and was great just to sit back and listen to the wildlife . We also went for a walk to the waterfall. I would recommend it to anyone. Jack , the host was also fantastic, he couldn’t do enough for us . Can’t wait to return . "

"Had a fantastic stay at this property, it was very clean and tidy and has been well looked after. The beds were comfortable with spacious rooms. It's in a beautiful location and so so quiet and there is lots to do without having to drive too far. The hot tub was again very clean and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The owner was lovely and was available if needed. Couldn't fault our stay, we wanted to stay longer!"

"The location of this property is amazing if you are headed to a game at Anfield as it’s a super quick walk to the stadium & very convenient. Around the area there is a lot of food, grocery stores, bars, etc. Quick walk to the bus stop. Layout of the property is interesting, as it’s like an old apartment building that’s been converted into a house. Each bedroom had a heavy door that automatically closed so it felt more like a bunch of separate properties vs one whole place. The beds in each room...

"Property well located for access to Anfield and Goodison. Guaranteed street parking on match day is nice (well, permit). It is multilevel so be aware of that (and the stairs were a bit steep for my 80 yr old mom ,but she managed). Only thing we would have liked flto see different was the heat to be turned on the day we were arriving since the house was quite cold and took til the morning to warm up (we arrived at night). But would recommend to friends."

"The host was very helpful and friendly. The place is comfortable and had everything we needed. I knew there were stairs but didn't realize they would be as steep as they are, which was only noticed because i recently injured my leg. The entry stoop was unexpectedly high and both of us tripp on it. But everything else was fine and very convenient to bus line, stores and parks. Im glad we stayed there!"

"This spacious House is in a nice street and ideal location for thr waterfront. The furniture was nice but the fabtic of the house needs some attention. There was a potential electrical issue with the cooker hood that needs investigation. "

"Myself & my grandsons stayed at this property for 4 nights. The property was perfect for us with 3 good sized bedrooms & 2 toilets. The property was clean.& had all amenities that was needed. I would recommend this property. It was good value for money too."

"The accommodation was very poor standard. The small bedroom had no electricity except for overhead light. Situation of bed meant no access to bedside table in that room. Really unfit for purpose The place felt grubby. Not enough crockery. No basics left eg milk bread washing up liquid. The upstairs toilet blocked on first day and left a voicemail msge to Gary but no reply. Bathroom needs immediate refurbishment. As does kitchen and downstairs loo there was no toilet brush or roll holder All...

"Wonderful property with all the comforts of home. We arrived to a beautiful basket of goodies and a warm welcome from our host. Julie went out of her way to help us get settled in. We would highly recommend this holiday home if you are planning to visit the Liverpool area. Easy access to the sights of the city and great restaurants nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer! Cheers from the Canadian travellers!"

"After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform."

"Great location for centre of Liverpool, basic room.only complaint is no kettle to make a brew in morning, but there is a greggs next door.Nice bed ,nice big towels.Curtains were ripped but overall nice little place.Bonus tou get discounted parking at Ncp carpark through hotel. "

"Low ambient lighting. Friendly cheerful staff from reception to the cleaners. Everyone, especially Danielle were really nice and customer friendly. Bar staff also very accommodating as there are no fridges in the room. They kindly provided an ice bucket with plenty of ice each time I asked. We (2) stayed for 5 nights and were given a really nice room for 4, to make our stay more pleasant. The jacuzzi bath was brilliant. Breakfast was included and was a mix of traditional full English and Continental with cereals. The smoked salmon was the best part but it wasnt available on the Thursday for some reason. However the hot buffet beakfast selection was plentiful. There was also orange, apple and cranberry juice available. As well as iced water. However on Thursday there was no ice in the water. They have a coffee machine which gave a decent seletion of coffees too. Bar has a pork scratchings oven too. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is really close to all the shops and the museum. There is air con in the rooms and an extra oil filled radiator. The hair dryer was in a bag in the wardrobe...took me ages to find it as I thought it was a laundry bag at first! The wardobe had a tendency of opening by itself too. Lots of mirrors in the room too. Being only 5 ft 2, I found the bathroom mirror a bit too high. The TV is fixed so you can't swivel it around on an angle like on a cruise. "
