"I have mixed feelings about this Riad. Ups - Nice decor. Beautiful building. - Big room with an excellent heater. - We always came back to a perfectly cleaned room. - Youssef was a helpful fellow. At the same time he didn’t seem particularly interested in answering our questions (travel related) if we were not taking his travel offers. - Good location, 15-20 mins from the core of the Médina. Downs - The WiFi didn’t work for us at all. We caught an open network and used it sparingly...

"I would highly recommend this beautiful and impeccably-maintained riad to anyone! Saliha was the most accommodating and responsive host I’ve ever lodged with, and she worked hard to ensure that my visit went smoothly. I stayed at Dar al-Katib for 6 weeks, and Saliha’s hospitality always went above and beyond—she took my partner’s dress to the tailor for us, she set up our transportation to Volubilis, and she personally took care of me when I became very ill! Saliha’s cooking is excellent...
