"Just returned from an amazing weekend staying at the Ria Formosa. A short walk from the airport, ideal if you’re travelling light. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room was exceptionally clean. We stayed in the Royal room, it went well above our expectations and the hot tub was lovely and clean. "We were delighted with the location of the hotel to explore Faro and we loved the quirkiness of it all. We were off season so didn’t expect to use the pool and outside areas. They were a bit run down looking with some broken sunbeds and torn curtains but hopefully that was being addressed by the owners as they renovated for the start of the new season. We had an amazing evening meal on our second evening which was the highlight of our stay. We really enjoyed our stay"

"Room is small but it did the job, bed sheets not the most comfortable but mattress good, shower nice and very clean. Faro is small so it’s within 5 minutes to everything. WiFi and tea available for free. Staff were lovely, when we got locked out at 2am she came with no complaint to come and let us in. "

"Perfect location with easy walking access to all. Theres a delicious inexpensive restaurant right across the street. Other restaurants you can walk to as well, and the town is perfect and not too crowded and overrun, like some of the other Algarve areas. The beach and Algar Seco are approx 10minutes walk away. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. the room has an air conditioning unit. Very nice terrace just outside the room. The room is Nicely updated and attractive looking....
