"It was a lovely central Hotel. However, the rooms were tiny and the breakfast quite expensive for what was a very basic and limited choice. We were also given a disabled room for some reason...but at least that was slightly bigger than the rooms our friends had. There was no proper wardrobe space either, so dont bring dresses or long garments. On a positive note, the bathroom/ shower was brilliant as were the Hotel staff. "

"What an amazingly, beautiful, hotel and Emilie the absolute perfect host. The attention to detail is first class and no effort is spared to make your visit memorable. The bedrooms are superb, the bed is ultra comfortable, the bathroom with walk in shower excellent and thecair conditioning given it was 35 degrees outside such a delight. "The hotel had friendly and polite staff. Lots of amenities available e.g tennis court, crazy golf, table tennis and bikes available if wishing to cycle within the surrounding area. There was also a swimming pool with a patio to the rear of the building however this was never used, weather was only sunny and hot on the day of our arrival but the pool was dirty. If the pool had been clean I would have used it but seeing grit, sand and earth on the bottom of the pool was off putting. Flies were...

"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse.
