"Pleasant helpful staff, at check in and breakfast. We did not have an evening meal. We booked a sea view double room. The view was the highlight for us. The room was a good size, with a decent bathroom. An electric shower, so not as powerful as a rainfall shower. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and bottled water provided- with the largest mugs we’ve ever had in a hotel room.A good selection of cooked breakfast choices along with cereal and juices that you helped yourself to. "Nice modern hotel with excellent rooms: mine had a spectacular view out to sea. I was pleased to discover that the hotel was quiet although busy. The staff were very pleasant and attended in a professional manner. The food, unfortunately, I thought was disappointing although very keenly priced. "Stayed here a couple of times and there is a lovely vibe. The rooms are an absolute electric mix of modern and antiques, beds are comfy and there is plenty of space. All rooms are very different so if you want a bath or shower in particular, make sure you check the details. "Great for a one night stay but be warned. You have to pay £10 to park your car overnight although I got mine for free due to my Hotels.com membership. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a Mini fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and the towels were nice and fluffy (some things you don’t always get). Only complaint was that the heated towel rail in the bathroom was rusty and I couldn’t work out how to turn it on. Would definitely recommend "
