"The bed was super comfortable and the place was clean and tidy. The tv was not a smart tv as stated and the shower was very small , I’m glad neither of us were big people as it was tight to get between the shower and sink to use the toilet and there was no tv in the bedroom , we found on arrival a hot tub which I wish we knew about , unfortunately it was not the weather to use it. yes we would stay again despite the few little negative things . "

"The ceiling is severely slanting coming down to about 4 foot of the ground. As a result it was impossible to Not keep banging your head and I’m only 5 ft tall. This is the loft of a converted garage. It is not the whole building as suggested by photograph. We managed for 2 days but glad we had not booked for a week."

"We had an issue at check in, in as much as it didn’t seem ready, black bag still in the bin, food waste still in the bin, damp towels in bathroom (unsure if used) and the bedroom not made up. We text the owner who came straight away and was mortified, they had only just returned from being away and the cleaner employed did not do as requested. "We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in.
