"This 16th century manor house has been lovingly and tastefully restored and one has a sense of stepping back in history. Everything is first class, including the friendly and accommodating service. The location is 10 minutes outside of Ponte de Lima, so a car is recommended. We stayed 3 nights and toured from there, happily returning each time to this beautiful hotel. It was a highlight of our 2 week tour of Portugal."

"From the moment we arrived, we felt and saw the wow factor. The hotel is beautiful, the bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are large as well. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices. Our dinner menu was excellent and the food was delicious. The wines were top notch, we absolutely loved all the wines on offer. Everything was perfect. "This spot is really cute. The suite was well equipped and spacious. Great linens and supplies Walk out the door and the river walk and everything a person needs is right there. Miguel was so helpful and communicative and he was even able to pick me up at the bus. Much appreciated. Thank you for everything. "

Sustainable rebuilt windmill from 19th century in Ponte de Lima, North Portugal.

Relaxing and comfortable

"We had a splendid stay. The house was just as described. All amenities described were provided. The owner, Filipe, is very responsive and helpful with any questions. We had no issues. We enjoyed the peacefulness yet close to town. As for the driveway from precious comments, yes it is steep, but we had no issues at all! We followed Felipe’s advice and we were fine."
