"This property has been frailly recently updated and the beds, kitchenette and bathroom in our unit were good. What was a big disappointment was the attitude of the staff--starting with an incompetent and surly check-in by the hotel's bartender -- we had paid for a third person and bed but he tried to charge us again for that extra. "Felt like home after staying for a month. Suite had a functional kitchen, bathroom, dining area, bed, and storage. Room refreshed every third day with quality linens, towels and kitchen supplies, including coffee/tea. Beautiful view onto street and river that captured the essence of Porto. "The staff is very nice and attentive. The breakfast offering was good, as well. Our room was nice and very clean. This hotel’s location is close to a lot on venues: shopping, restaurants/bars, coffee shops, historic sites. It’s also a very walkable location to all."

"Location, location, location. We had an amazing stay! The hotel is less than 5-minute walk to the Sao Bento train station, historical part of town and ALL local restaurants. The staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly, helpful and very welcoming. We had a minor issue with the room, but it was taken care within a few minutes. If we come back to Porto, we will definitely stay at the Porto Royal Bridges Hotel! "
