"What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth! "fantastic hotel and have stayed before great central location. Great pool sauna steam room facilities. amazing layout of hotel and rooftop bar with restaurant. Great courtyard to relax in the Sun. very safe and private location. I would say the only downfall to this hotel is no tea/coffee facilities or kettle in the room and towels and bottled water not refreshed daily. overall a fantastic hotel and would stay again. Big thanks to Emily and Julian for making our stair great."
