"This is a charming, up to date gite in an ideal location, 3 km from Eymet, a wonderful small village in Dordogne. It is hard to get a sense of just how peaceful the location is from the photos, but we greatly enjoyed our stay. Michael and Donna were great hosts. "We loved this property. Probably one of the best we’ve stayed at. Supermarkets were a 15 min drive, as was the nearest (open!) boulangerie in Castillionnes. The house had everything we needed. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Fans in the main house bedrooms for warm nights and my parents had A/C in the pigeonnair. The pool was fabulous, much needed in the summer sun. "The gite was spacious and comfortable. Best of all it remained cool day and night in temperatures of over 30c. The terrace was especially delightful and the setting is very peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped although the free-standing oven was less than satisfactory and difficult to control. There is a large (unfenced) grassed area which children would enjoy. Les propriétaires sont de belles personnes, gentils, avenants et de bon conseil pour la découverte de ce bel endroit que nous ne connaissions pas. C’était une belle rencontre. A recommander."
