"The host was very helpful, the apartment location was great, but unfortunately having a gym directly below, and being located on a busy street, did make it quite noisy. The apartment has a balcony which faces the road and people passing tend to stare at you, which is off putting when you are eating. The television has only Portuguese channels, so if you can't speak Portuguese it's not very useful. The pillows were very flat, and no spares were available. "Very handy for centre of town. Lots of eating establishments in the area. Clean and well equipped, although 'compact & bijou'. Maria was very helpful with everything, gave us invaluable advice. Good communication with owners. Note that car parking is VERY restricted near the property but large open air car park 10 minutes away (low cost). No outdoor area but a couple of small 'parks' on the sea-front a few minutes away (on foot) to 'watch the world go by'"
