"The lodge had been double booked so another family was already settled into the lodge when I arrived with my two children and family dog. My sister and brother in law arrived from a long journey from Oxford shortly after with their dog. We were planning to celebrate a special birthday and wanted this quite stay after our recent family bereavement. This was extremely disappointing to say the least. "I always stay at No. 10 when I am in Preston. Fantastic central location for easy access to train station, shops, university, bus station etc. Rooms always exceptionally clean. I usually try to stay on a high floor because the only downside of No. 10 are the creeky floors so if someone in a room upstairs comes in late, you can hear them.
