"At first we were a little surprised, but it turned out to be what we needed. Quiet, clean, and the sheets smelled like old fashioned hang dried which was amazing. Wifi was a little weak but we didn’t need it to work, it was nice to unplug for a few days. The recommended Italian restaurant cuckoo in coomes was spectacular was like we were in Italy. We were provided with bottles of water, laundry facilities and soap, slippers to put on before going upstairs, books and games, nice couch in front of tv, lots of chairs and rockers. High ceilings, warm blankets, and great location between Courtenay and Cumberland not far from Comox. We want to return in the summer!"
