"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Tanya, the owner, greeted us on arrival, she gave us a lot of information about the cabin and surrounding area. Especially where to see bears which was the main reason we came to Vancouver Island. She was spot on, we saw bears almost every day! The cabin and setting were lovely, we would definitely come again. "Awesome "

"Wonderful few days relaxing by the lake and visiting local trails and wonderful beaches at Tofino and Ucluelet. The place is cosy but there is a good kitchen, hot shower, the most comfortable bed we have slept in on holiday out of the 6 weeks and a great clean hot tub to watch the sunset over the lake and mountains. Would definitely stay here again if we are on VI. "

"This cabin is exactly what we were looking for for our relaxing weekend away from the city before the busy school year started. The cabin was immaculate and comfortable and we had amazing views of whales and the Northern lights. it was perfect for some low key family time."

"My only suggestion would be to have a map of some kind to show where the garbage was located. It was a bit difficult to find when we were leaving. Enjoyed our stay. "

"Loved how the train tracks were just behind the cabin. We went for several walks along them and our son loved finding little lizzards,bugs and slugs. We even came across an ant hill near by! "

"Sunny Shores was an incredible home base for a group of 4 women friends on our trip to Vancouver Island.
