"Our families decided to rent the property for a getaway close to the DMV. It was easy to check in, get around Charles Town and enjoy the property. Even with an unexpected 6" of snow, we still found time to appreciate everything the property had to offer."

"This is an excellent home for a visit to Harpers Ferry, great location for doing anything local, hikes, history of the area... Home was very clean, had many of the kitchen things you may need to make a meal were provided... Our host was present when needed, and followed up with us... Really enjoyed our time here."

"What a wonderful weekend, in this spacious and beautiful home on the scenic Potomac River. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the area. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the dock, river front patio, and fire pit. We'd highly recommend this to locals too as a great spot for a staycation."

"Lovely place full of charm but updated enough to be very comfortable and big enough for many people to spread out.Harpers Ferry is a great little town less than an hour from IAD and close to hiking, biking, history, and good food and drink!THX"

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Potomac River Retreat. From visiting Harpers Ferry, playing the slots at Charles Town Casino, to taking the self-guided tour of Antietam National Battlefield Park, hiking the Maryland Heights Trail via Harpers Ferry, and walking the C&O Canal tow path. To eating at Captain Benders and getting sandwiches and snacks at Battleview Market. And simply enjoying the fire pit. Thank you for the great experiences"
