"The pods themselves are great. Very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Did encounter an issue with the heating upon arrival. POD was so hot inside the surfaces were too hot to touch. Never had this happen before. Calls to office and emergency line were not answered. Had to drive around looking for someone and a nice staff, Kirsten, at the event facility helped me. Finally had to disconnect heating completely from pod. Unfortunately had to stay in the pod all night with the doors...

"This is our 4th visit to The Kist. We always have a fabulous time away. It has everything we need. Cosy & secluded. Perfect get away place to stay."

"Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner instantly to show us around and how to control the Hottub, lighting's etc in this accommodation. (Helped alot) Great wee Pod and very quiet as this is away from major roads. We had no issues,except the accommodations Speakers, there was nothing to show how to connect to them. (Not really an issue but would have been a nice addition). The Biscuits were 2x months past they're BBE, so they wete really spft but i still ate them! Haha"

"The property was in a lovely location and handy for local amenities! Very quiet and lovely to sit outside and listen to the bagpipes on a morning! The only down side was the drive down to the property and the potholes if they were filled in it would have been a much easier drive in and out. "

"A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond. "We had a couple of small hiccups to begin with but all were rectified quickly by the property manager. We would definitely stay here again. It’s set in such a lovely peaceful location."

"We all had a great stay at Thistle Lodge. Very clean and well presented. The open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area was great for our family trip of 4 adults. A bonus was the outdoor gated patio, felt like a sense of security for our Labrador. Great base for exploring Perthshire. Will definitely return in the near future. "
