Pre-booking messages with the property host were replied to promptly despite a 7-hour time difference between us. During my 6-week stay at the property, the host arrived at the unit within 15 minutes when the heating system turned itself off unexpectedly. "We enjoyed this Scottish “steading”. It was a charming farmhouse attached with other houses. The neighbors were friendly and helpful when we first got there. The house was plenty big enough for the 9 of us. The only downfall was the very slow Internet. But that wasn’t the fault of the owner.
