"Everything was going to be fine, we had a ice storm come through which caused power outage and didn't get a chance to spend the night at hotel. This was a business trip for drug testing on the Air force base, due to the power outage in the Alpena area which were accommodated in base with rooms for the team. Maybe next time during summer months we will get another chance to experience the Days Inn."

"This property was everything we could have imagined for our 13 adults/kids and 3 dogs! Host was quick to get back and property was perfect. We arrived to find a Christmas tree all decorated to start off our family Christmas weekend! Planning on staying here again as the accommodations were perfect for all the adults to have their own room and the cousins(kids) to bunk together for some quality time!!!"

"Our room is clean and there was plenty of parking. Very cute retro motel. Rhw refrigerator in the room is a nice size. The only complaint would be that the pillow could be replaced. They are flat and older. Also, there were 3 of us checking in and only towels and wash clothes for two in the room. Overall a great value."

The housekeeper on the day of check out was upset with his co workers (something he stated himself) and was very rude and uptight about our check out time which was already handled by the check in/counter staff."

"We havenā€™t been on a full extended family vacation in 10 years and this was a wonderful place to go to finally all get together. The lake is beautiful, property grounds and home are very nice. Working with the owner was easy and very informative. The only thing I would say is the home is a tad bit smaller than what I thought in the pictures. Still would highly recommend booking here! "
