About this property

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Perfect Tranquility--where nature and wildlife are your only neighbors!

Our cabin has a beautiful view of the lake from the dining room and wrap around deck on the front. We also have a deck off the upstairs bedroom where you can view deer and wildlife in the fields behind. We own 23 acres with trails through our woods for hiking.
The kitchen is totally furnished with microwave above the electric stove and oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee pot, mixer, and blender. Pots and pans and dishes are also furnished. We have 3 bedrooms, with 2 queens and one double. You supply sheets, pillow cases and towels. There is a sofa, comfortable chairs, and a flat screen TV, DVD player and Netflix. We also have WiFi for you to connect to the internet.

There is a charcoal grill on the front deck, a swing and picnic table in the yard area, with an open pit for campfires. We furnish two row boats, a dock, and a raft. The dining room table seats 6. There is one bath with shower/tub combo. Firewood can be purchased on the property for a very reasonable price (On Lori Lane before you get to the A-frame).
We do not allow hunting on our property but there are great hunting opportunities North of us. *****You supply sheets and towels******

Wonderful stay!
We stayed at the chalet for the first time after staying at the A-frame for several visits. We loved the open concept inside, the beautiful views, the awesome fire pit area and the wonderful beach! Our host was very patient and helpful with my many questions. We donated an Uno Quattro game to the game closet and hope others enjoy it. We hope to be back next year!

Great Getaway
Perfect tucked away location for a quiet getaway. Good driving distance from hiking trails, and Alpena is a great day trip from here. Make sure to get donuts from Fairview Family Restaurant- the best we’ve ever had. Would love to check it out in the summer with the kids!

This was our second trip to the Chalet. The accommodations are not extravagant but it is a an excellent get away and there is functional internet should you need the modern convenience. Our children and dog love it.

Absolutely Beautiful!
My wife and I had a fantastic time celebrating our anniversary here. We hiked, we took the paddle boat out, we had a couple of campfires, and we were able to really relax. The dog also loved it! We will definitely be back.

Very private secluded cabin on private lake. Lots of trails and places to wonder looking at abundant wildlife. Had a few lazy rainy days where we just watched Netflix and napped. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to unplug from the rat race. We will return!

Great getaway
What a great little cabin! We stayed 3 days and 3 nights right after Christmas and it was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies, the beds are very comfortable and having a woodburning stove was wonderful. It was cold enough to ice skate on the pond plus we took walks around their property when it wasn't sub zero temps. Such a great place to find.

Clean, beautiful and peaceful!
The cabin was very clean, comfortable, well-equipped and well maintained. All needed info was provided ahead of time and on the cork board in the hallway. We could hear occasional sounds from distant neighbors, but the property still felt very secluded and private. Did some kayaking on the nearby AuSable River…prettiest we’ve seen! Nearby towns are well kept and friendly, too. Overall a wonderful and too-short vacation!

Perfect!
This was the perfect getaway for 2 stressed out Mom's who just needed to get away for a few days and relax! The cabin was clean and the location could not have been more perfect! We LOVED the quiet, the lake, the walking trails and the cabin itself is so cozy! We even chatted with the neighbors across the lake for a bit while rowing past on the boat! We will be booking again for next year! Thank you!

I think the only thing better about the trip than the property would be the owners! Amazing from top to bottom. The location is incredible. The cabin is very nice even though you spend most of your time outside. The trails are wide and well kept. Markets and grocery stores very close by. Already booked for next year. My best Vrbo experience by far!

Cute cozy and clean!
We really enjoyed our stay at Perfect Tranquility. The cottage was clean and very cozy. The weather was cold and damp so we were able to use the wood burning stove inside since it was too wet for the fire pit. Donnie brought over kindling and matches and that was very helpful! We walked the trails and the colors were beautiful! I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway.
