"We loved everything about our stay at Dorsey’s Wave, the home was very clean and stocked with everything we could need for an enjoyable stay. Loved being able to walk right out to the beach! The area is not as hustle and bustle as the surrounding beaches and felt like our own little piece of paradise. We will definitely be back! "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the beach shack. The location on the beach was perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The house had everything we needed. Check in was a breeze. We had no issues the whole trip. If you do want to goto Gulf Shores the drive is super simple, but takes about 20ish min. We spent most of our time on the porch watching the ocean and the birds. "Only 3 blocks to the beach! GREAT - location, yard, neighborhood, parking, water pressure and very spacious. A starter supply of one roll of TP, paper towels, 2 packets of dishwasher det. and one garbage bag was all that was supplied. Suggest brining or buying anything additional needed including liquid dish soap."

We went to local restaurants and local attractions around the area and was very impressed with how much activities there are to do within Gulf Shores. We also drove 15 minutes down the road to Orange Beach and visited many of the stores and restaurants around that area. We were in and out of the rental going to the beach and other areas, but we enjoyed our stay. "

"This house has a LOT of space. Which is great for a large group. I will say, the reviews did not lie--the layout is very strange. It is good in a way because if you have a lot of guests, you don't feel like you are on top of one another. The staircases on the back side of the house are STEEP. If you have any kind of disability or immobility they are not friendly at all. But the front of the house has more regular steps, still a bit steep. "I booked the condo for various reasons and one was for the outdoor swimming pool but the was construction taking place in the exact same parking lot for a building 500ft beside the location so the pool so not available for use. That sucked being that i couldn’t swim in ocean water and had high hopes of enjoying an outdoor pool. If I had of known before booking than I probably wouldn’t have booked the location"

"The home was perfect for our family of 12. The location was close to restaurants and shopping and not far from OWA and the beach. Our grandchildren had a great time with the games and we BBQ'd in the back yard. Plenty of room to sleep everyone and everything worked as it should. Parking was easy for our multiple cars as well. Angie was responsive when I called or sent her a text. "

"Great location! The Hangout is right next door and you can enjoy the live music from your room. Easy beach access! Great communication from all staff for parking, check-in, check-out. We will stay there again! The only con would be during housekeeping hours, bins and carts were crowding the elevator rooms. But I’m sure this is just due to limited space and it’s the best they can do. Housekeeping staff was excellent and kind! Luggage carts and actual shopping carts were genius! So much easier...
