"You are definitely in a great location as far as distance to restaurants, tourist spots. We had a little snafu initially with the front door key not working (humidity and old wooden doors can cause some sticking) but we were redirected and able to get in. "Perfect time for the family near the water and small town of New Bern. Family played golf (very affordable and we rented clubs) Kids went kayaking and fishing. Girls got to explore the cute town of New Bern and the quaint shops. Nice restaurants and ice cream shop. And the forth of July fireworks were an extra perk!"
