"The Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon is a hotel almost in the middle of nowhere. As we were approaching the hotel area...well...we were not expecting much. However, this is a top notch hotel. The staff were very friendly and the room was nice. The hot tubs were great and they provided robes without charge (nice!). The restaurant, which is high quality, was expensive. The food was excellent and service excellent. Was not expecting such high quality in the middle of nowhere Iceland!!"

"Adventure Hotel Hof was great! The hotel was lovely and set in a picturesque location. Check in was easy, and we were able to park right outside our room to make it easier to bring in our luggage (as there was no elevator). We chose to dine at the hotel and were not disappointed! The food was lovely and the service impeccable. In fact, all of the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast the following morning was also very well stocked so you won’t go hungry! "

"Had to do a late check in due to other another property not working out. Even in the late hours of trying to unwind after a long day the staff exceeded expectations and made the short stay very welcoming and great. Would absolutely stay here again, was very clean and new inside and out of the room. "

"Guesthouse Gerdi was wonderful. You have the ocean on one side, mountains and mountain views on multiple sides, beautiful horses near the property. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and comfortable. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant and the food was delicious. Magical place!"

"Such a lovely place to stay and in an amazing location with awesome views. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the toiletries provided in the bathroom. To eat its only a short drive to cafes or restaurants nearby. Diamond Beach is just a few minutes drive too. Behind the property is a scenic waterfall which is well worth a short hike. We loved staying here and will definitely be back."

"We loved it. Party of 7. Each cabin sleeps 8 but we had ti rent 2 cabins because they fine you TONS extra in fees for every person in your party over 4. So, it doesn’t make sense. But that was our only complaint. Loved the place. (Needed paper towels and a cookie sheet, but those are small things,)"
