"A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. We stayed for 10 nights so we had time to enjoy and relax. We thank Filipo and Feredica, who have been so hospitable during our stay. Lots of options for breakfast with the best cappuccino ever. "We liked the location and the fact it was quiet.The bed was comfortable. Kitchen adequate but would have liked electric kettle. It was wet weather and we had no control over heating as it was put on remotely and only occasionally during our weeks stay. We appreciated the clean towels and linen everyday. A welcome pack was not included ie info on nearest shop. So more difficult when travelling without a car. Lucca is a wonderful city and a few little touches would have made us feel more welcome...

"The location of this property is amazing, although a little difficult to find if you're using Google Maps. As its on the opposite side and end of the lane than shown. My host for the stay, Franca, has been lovely and offered some great suggestions of things to see/do on arrival. The rooms themselves are beautifully decorated, however I found the bedding and pillows particularly uncomfortable. Also, the rooms are not soundproof at all, which is understandable given the age of the building....

"The room was spacious and lovely and just a very short walk from the walled city. Perfect for our needs and the cafe a few doors away where breakfast is provided is really nice also. Luccia was welcoming and very helpful. Would heartily recommend. "

"Zwar abgelegen aber super schön und erholsam. Natürlich kann man immer meckern aber ich würde sagen das die Unterkunft vollkommen in Ordnung ist. Komplett Familien geführt und sehr ruhig, die Zimmer sind nicht mehr die neuesten aber ich finde soweit alles in Ordnung. Es wird sauber gehalten und auch das man nach 4 Tagen neue Handtücher bekommt ist nicht schlimm den auch zu Hause benutzt man nicht jeden Tag ein neues. Das Frühstück ist vollkommen ausreichend nur der Kaffee könnte etwas besser...

"Beware - I booked through Expedia but will not do that again as when couldn’t get a flight in time for the first day, and I tried to change the booking to arrive the second day of my week long stay, it cancelled the whole booking and re-booked at a much higher rate. "This is an amazing Villa located very convenient to Lucca, especially by train. The grounds are immaculate and include a pool, bathhouse, tended garden, and producing olive trees in the back. The front balcony offers a view of Pisa including the leaning tower. We were given the Music room, which is grand with high cooing and large balcony. Our only concern was the bathroom with the doorway being 6 foot tall and made of stone, and my 6 foot 5 inch tall head hitting it several times. Otherwise...
