"A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. "We liked the location and the fact it was quiet.The bed was comfortable. Kitchen adequate but would have liked electric kettle. It was wet weather and we had no control over heating as it was put on remotely and only occasionally during our weeks stay. We appreciated the clean towels and linen everyday. A welcome pack was not included ie info on nearest shop. So more difficult when travelling without a car. Lucca is a wonderful city and a few little touches would have made us feel more welcome...

"This is an amazing Villa located very convenient to Lucca, especially by train. The grounds are immaculate and include a pool, bathhouse, tended garden, and producing olive trees in the back. The front balcony offers a view of Pisa including the leaning tower. We were given the Music room, which is grand with high cooing and large balcony. Our only concern was the bathroom with the doorway being 6 foot tall and made of stone, and my 6 foot 5 inch tall head hitting it several times. Otherwise...

"Beware - I booked through Expedia but will not do that again as when couldn’t get a flight in time for the first day, and I tried to change the booking to arrive the second day of my week long stay, it cancelled the whole booking and re-booked at a much higher rate.
