"Amaël and Ida were wonderful hosts who provided clear instructions for check in and were available throughout our stay. We had misread the listing and did not realize there was no air conditioning. This was in no way the owners fault, as it is clearly listed, but we were surprised and it made for an uncomfortable stay in a heat wave. "We enjoyed 3 nights in the apartment as our base for exploring Lyon.The apartment had everything we needed and was conveniently located near a small supermarket, a tram and metro station, and some local restaurants. Not a good neighborhood for bistros but wonderful Montplaisir neighborhood a 15 minute walk away, with outdoor market Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Be sure to get entry instructions well before you arrive as there is no one at the apt building to meet you. Make sure you can phone the property manager to get help....
