"This is a good location for getting the subway or the bus. It's an all women hostel. There is toast and eggs for you to enjoy as a light breakfast. They have 4 individual bathroom/shower room to share which was nice for privacy. They were well stocked with toiletries, towels, and hair dryer. I enjoyed my stay there. "

"Nice stay, well located and easy to get around. It was quite noisy, especially at night (drains, other rooms etc). Bathroom is a wet room, not a shower but this wasn’t the end of the world. For the price, worth it! Lots of coffee shops / restaurants etc nearby. "

"Easy to check in by QR code, beautiful and clean room. Flexible with luggage storage. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing location, walkable to all of Hongdae/Hongik university area and AREX airport train. I think the wifi only connects 1 device at a time. I think the fridge in my room did not work but no problem as I only stayed 1 night."

"The guesthouse was amazing. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was super nice, special shoutout to D who took great care in getting to know the guests and made sure everyone had a good time. Checkin was also seamless with instructions provided before via mail and a guide at the front door. I highly recommend this place to stay and get comfortable in Hongdae!"

"This guesthouse is in the PERFECT location! Very close to the subway station and a short walk to the central shopping area in Hongdae. Peter is a very kind host and we enjoyed our stay here! Would recommend and would definitely stay here again!"

"On paper Baroato 2nd should be good. I appreciate the staff helping me a lot, however, as a hotel the overall experience was not that great. The room was in the basement and suffered from awful humidity which meant even with the aircon on dry mode everything was wet - skins, sheets, floor etc. On my final night the humidity was unbearable and I checked out and flew back earlier than I originally expected. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in which has had this extreme humidity issue. If...

"The property was well situated near stations and fun places and the air con worked well and the room was a good size. The reception man was nice but incompetent. The bathroom was mouldy. I didnt like how my room was a thorough fair for staff when i wasnt around. They even took my bags when i was away and put them down stairs in recpetion only 2 hours after i had checked in! Without my permission, of course. "

The location is ideal. Steps away from the subway with all the activity of Hongdae a very short walk. But far enough to allow for a quiets night rest. "The location of the hotel is perfect, 3 mins walking distance to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park station exit 12, airport bus to ICN airport is right in front of the hotel. Convenient stores and restaurants just mins away. The room is dated, there is no lighting switch near the bedside, you have to turn off the lights at the entrance. "Second time staying at this hotel. Staff are friendly as I remembered. Easy and quick check-in. Convenient location to subway and safe walking distance to Myeongdong and surroundings (incl. Gwangjang market, DDP and beyond). The convenient store in the hotel is great for late night snacks run. There is laundry facility and storage lockers in the lower ground /basement floor. There is also a scale in the lobby for you to weigh your luggage. Plenty of coffee places outside the hotel to get your breakfast in the morning. Room is bright, clean and comfortable. Bathroom and towels are clean. Bottled water is provided daily. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Seoul! "
